Volunteer Faculty at VOX Media Cafe

VOX is looking for adult professionals in all aspects of media to serve as volunteer instructors for VOX Media Cafe.

Volunteers generally commit to at least one full day of instruction during the summer.

Partipcants also took field trips to the newsrooms of CNN Interactive and Atlanta magazine, where producers and designers offered their time. Teens even got a behind-the-scenes look at the High Museum's Radcliffe Bailey exhibit from fellow teen curators. They recorded audio and video interviews and produced photo essays by exploring downtown Atlanta. Work produced by participants in VOX Media Cafe 2011 was published in the back-to-school issue of VOX newspaper, on the VOX blog, and in an original Tumblr blog created by Media Cafe participants.
