Apply to VOX Media Cafe

We are accepting applications for VOX Media Cafe 2012 now! Please see the checklist below and submit all items, including deposit or scholarship application, to editor@voxrox.org as soon as possible. Placement in classes will be first-come, first-served.

To apply, please submit ALL of the following materials:

  1. VOX Media Cafe application (click to download)
  2. Answer the writing prompt (click to download)
  3. Read and sign the policy and permission page (click to download) - Parent/Guardian Signature required for teens under 18 years of age.
  4. Have a teacher or adult mentor write a letter of recommendation on school or organization letterhead and submit it with the application. 
  5. Pay a $50 non-refundable deposit (per teen, NOT per course) by check to VOX Teen Communications, 229 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 725, Atlanta, GA 30303. If applying for a scholarship, the scholarship application will serve as a deposit. If the scholarship is granted, the $50 deposit will be waived. If the scholarship is not granted, the student will be notified that a deposit must be made.
  6. Submit all materials by email to editor@voxrox.org, by fax to 404-614-0045 or by mail to VOX Teen Communications, 229 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 725, Atlanta, GA 30303. 

Each course allows a maximum of 12 students. Several classes filled quickly last year; submit an application by the priority deadline to secure a spot! VOX will create a wait list for classes that fill.

To finish your registration, you can pay your deposit or full tuition here. Your payment is secure using Google Checkout. As a Google grantee, VOX keeps 100% of your payment (that's right - no admin fees).
